Robert Connors is one of the most controversial figures on the Internet due to a series of videos that were published on YouTube, in which Connors indicated that the African-American population in the country was being controlled through an operation more than 20 years ago.
Connors, who identified himself as a former Defense Department agent, made a series of statements in which he affirmed the existence of a CIA project to control the minds of the African-American population residing in the country.
To prove it, he pointed out that he had in his possession the true evidence that proved that both the death of singer Michael Jackson, as well as rapper Tupac Shakur, were caused by the government. In the videos mentioned above, Connors even claimed that he had more material in his possession.
Connors indicated that he was unable to destroy such material, despite receiving orders from his superiors. He is currently a popular figure, especially in conspiracy theorizing circles.
History
It is presumed that before becoming known on the Internet, Robert Connors managed to serve as a member of the Defense Council of the Industrial Sector, as well as the Chamber of Commerce of the National Security Group of the United States.
In addition, Connors noted that he was also part of Project Sedwick, a second phase of Project MK Ultra, also known as a mind control program developed by the CIA.
The disclosure of the videos took place at the end of 2013. In these videos Connors indicated the importance of the population having true knowledge of several more or less recent events, such as the death of Michael Jackson.
Most important aspects of recordings
-Throughout the videos, Connors introduced himself as a former United States Department of Defense agent who, in addition, had also worked as a member of the Sedwick Project.
-It indicated that the CIA had executed a program, which began in the government of Ronald Regan, in order to control the Afro-American population through music and other cultural manifestations.
-He pointed out that the program also found its way into important sectors of the political structure of various state agencies. This led to the oversight of several civilians of public importance who could pose a potential threat.
Michael jackson
At this point, it indicates that Michael Jackson was one of the many artists who suffered surveillance and even harassment by the CIA sector in which he worked.
To show that what he said was true, he published an audio where the singer's voice is recognized. In this footage, where he speaks with his former representative Dieter Weisner, Jackson indicated concern because he had a feeling that something would happen to him.
Some of the phrases that were identified in the audio released in the Connors videos were the following:
- "I don't know if I should tell you this. Perhaps there is a group of people who want to get rid of me. They don't want me here anymore ”.
- ”I can't talk on the phone, I don't know what will happen but I feel it. (…) They want to get rid of me ”.
- "They can shoot me, stab me, incriminate me or say I had an overdose."
- ”It is not the government, it is something beyond the government. I don't know, Dieter, I'm not interested… They can take me. I don't care about my life, I just want my children to be well. I want them safe ”.
Other characters
Connors included other important characters, such as rapper Tupac Shakur, John Lennon, Marilyn Monroe and even Robert Kennedy himself. According to Connors, all were victims of assassinations ordered by senior members of the Defense Department.
The reason for these deaths, which for many are inexplicable, was due to the fact that they were people who promoted revolutionary messages in favor of peace and brotherhood, or were linked to sensitive information that compromised government agencies.
Ultimatum
At the time these videos were released, Connors indicated that if authorities did not provide conclusive answers by September 23, 2013, he would release more material that he had in his possession.
At that point, the videos were widely released and discussed in different communities on the Internet, especially as it was waiting for what would happen on Connors' proposed date for the Department of Defense to release more information about it.
However, a video of a rapper named Prince Ea appeared that day, who is seen in a room filled with images of rappers and other African-American personalities. In this he confirms the conspiracy to assassinate Tupac Shakur and then sings a song titled I Know Who Killed Hip-Hop.
Urban reality or legend?
The moment in which the videos were released, the Internet communities and public opinion were attentive to the progress of Connors' statements, especially when they spoke of the apparent strange circumstances of Michael Jackson's death.
Even his sister LaToya Jackson assured in a series of interviews that his brother had been persecuted and then killed.
However, the sudden appearance of Prince Ea as a closure to these Connors materials aroused skepticism from several people. It was concluded that it was all about a marketing plan to viralize the content through a series of strange videos.
Although it has been confirmed that it was a campaign, some adherents of conspiracy theories agree that there is a real side to the information mentioned by Connors, especially since his whereabouts are currently unknown.
Curiosities
-Due to the impact of the videos, a series of non-verbal language studies were conducted to understand whether Connors' statements were true. In fact, some believe that this person was actually in danger during this period.
-The appearance of the Prince Ea video hinted that Connors' account had been hacked. However, the video was deleted from YouTube.
-Despite the lack of credibility that Connors videos have gained, the audio of Michael Jackson's conversation with his former representative is real.
Sedwik and MK Ultra projects
At first, Connors makes mention of Project Sedwik and Project MK Ultra. Both correspond to a program carried out by the CIA in order to use strategies during interrogations and torture.
The first part, corresponding to the MK Ultra Project, was developed during the 1950s and had the participation of several universities and other private and pharmaceutical institutions, since drugs - in addition to other resources - were used during the process.
This project was not known until 1977, when more than 20,000 documents were declassified and entered the public domain.
