The uses that can be given to ecosystems without transforming them basically include any type of natural and sustainable exploration and exploitation. According to studies and practices carried out by ecologists and ecologists (scientists who are in charge of the study of ecosystems) worldwide, these practices achieve the survival and sustainable development of ecosystems.
An ecosystem is made up of living species and non-living elements. The integration of both in an environment achieves the environmental balance that is required. Every ecosystem requires the presence of animals, plants, insects, soil, air, water, sunlight.
An ecosystem can be aquatic or terrestrial. None is the same as the other and diversity offers the option of finding desert ecosystems or very humid in aquatic spaces.
To maintain equilibrium in an ecosystem, the presence of man should not be excluded, since it is possible that coexistence exists without having to generate negative impact or transformation.
5 ways to use ecosystems without transforming them
Fish farming
Fishing is one of the oldest ways that man has used to eat. To get more fish each day, man has resorted to different techniques such as dragging and dynamite.
However, they are systems that negatively affect the environment, not only due to the damage caused to flora and fauna, but also due to the possibility of extinguishing the species that are consumed.
For this, fish farming was created, which consists of raising fish in ponds, under similar habitat conditions where they will later be released. This guarantees the conservation of the species.
The ecotourism
The world offers a large number of places that interest those who enjoy nature. The presence of human beings in these places without causing damage to the ecosystem is possible with the practice of ecotourism.
The World Tourism Organization (OTM), establishes the bases for the respect of biological wealth, reducing as much as possible the impact on the ecological processes of the place.
The Agriculture
Agriculture is a means of sustenance for humanity. Its practice must guarantee the least impact on consumers and the environment, which is why organic fertilizers are currently used.
These do not produce pollution and contribute to the enrichment of the soils, since the absorption of the elements that nourish it is improved, contributing to their fertility.
Industrial ecology
It is possible to produce massively and without generating a great impact on the environment. Currently, ecologists are very important, due to the studies they constantly carry out so that in each process that uses resources from the environment, the ecosystem is impacted as little as possible.
In the case of the timber industry, reforestation is essential to restore the balance of the forests. Recycling the raw materials used in any manufacturing process is essential to maintain ecosystems.
sports
There are a lot of people who enjoy practicing different sports disciplines outdoors.
The ecological reserves, caves and natural parks allow activities such as hiking, mountaineering, diving, swimming, among others.
