Despite being one of the most important events in Mexican history and that, unfortunately, cost the lives of many people who fought for equality to exist, the legacy of these people is still palpable.
Today we are going to explain in detail each of the benefits that marked an era in the history of Mexico. We hope you learn a lot!
Main benefits of the Mexican Revolution
Before going fully into the subject in particular, it is important that you know briefly what the Mexican Revolution was.
One of the most important armed conflicts in Mexico is known as the “Mexican Revolution”, in which the country was mired in a dictatorship under the military control of Porfirio Díaz, who would later be relieved by Victoriano Huerta.
Mexico was a stable country economically and politically, however, the lower strata paid dearly for it, especially those who opposed the Diaz government.
Several leaders rose from the working class, among which Emiliano Zapata and Francisco Villa stand out, both warriors who fought to defend small towns, farmers, workers and all those who had no "protection."
From this struggle, great benefits arose in different aspects ranging from economic to social.
Politicians

One of the main benefits of the Mexican Revolution was the "annihilation" of the military oligarchy that ended up being a backwardness for Mexico during the 20th century.
While other Latin American countries suffered dictatorships in the sixties and eighties, Mexico did not suffer any kind of military control.
Social
The social benefits left by the Mexican Revolution are extensive and can be seen to this day.
From security, to access to medical services, social security and public education. It also served for the creation of INFONAVIT (Institute of the National Housing Fund for Workers).
Economical

There was a “fragmentation” of the national market, but the revolution did not abandon the model of economic growth that had been successful at the time.
While it was true that it was tough at first, farmers were given more freedom. Foreign industry and companies continued to operate under the control of the "revolutionaries", who guaranteed labor rights to many of the employees.
Citizen rights
Thanks to the Mexican Revolution, there are free elections, a situation that did not occur when the military regime was established. Now citizens can vote and be voted freely.
Another achievement was the creation of a just Constitution that regulates the lives of Mexicans.
Communicational
Another achievement worth mentioning is freedom of expression in the media.
After the overthrow of the military class, various newspapers, stations and television channels were inaugurated that broadcast a variety of news events.
