A dramatic text is a composition of a literary type, designed to be represented on stage. It is part of a communicative process, since it is designed to be read and represented. This type of text is called dramatic because its content is designed to represent the typical drama of lyrical or literary narratives.
Dramatic text encompasses three different types of broadcasters, including the author, the actors, and the director. In this way, when the dramatic text is represented by the three transmitters, it is given the name of "work".

A dramatic text can be constructed to be represented as a dialogue, for this reason it is considered to be part of a communicative process.
