In its gigantic surface all existing climates can be found, as well as a variety of topographies and reliefs, ranging from mountains and plateaus to jungles and tropical islands.
3- Language rich in dialects
The Chinese language is made up of a variety of Sino-Tibetan dialects. Of these, Mandarin is the official language and is the most widely spoken among the majority of its population (70%). But there are other current languages of popular use: Wu, Min, Yue, Hakka, Xiang and Gan.
Standard Mandarin writing comes from Beijing and has been done in simplified Chinese characters since 1956, when these replaced traditional Chinese characters. Chinese writing dates back thousands of years.
4- Political organization
The territory of the Chinese empire is composed of the following: 22 provinces, 5 autonomous regions, 4 municipalities under central jurisdiction and 2 regions with a special administration regime.
