The clothing of the Ecuadorian Amazon generally consists of knee-length shorts and long blouses of various colors, which they themselves dye. This outfit is worn by both men and women.
They wear a headband made with the feathers of birds that they hunt themselves and do not wear shoes. They always carry a bow and arrows with them to hunt. These tools / weapons are also made by them.
They decorate the chontas bow and arrows with tree bark and multi-colored feathers. As an ornament they wear necklaces, bracelets, carriages, and cords among other ornaments.

Amazonian Kichwa
The Kichwa are settled in the upper area of the Napo province, Sucumbíos. Their original clothing was made by themselves.
It consisted of the woman in a skirt made with lanchama, pita. In the men in ankle-length deerskin pants, and did not wear footwear.
Currently, and under the influence of young people who go to study in nearby cities, only 10% of the tribe uses this clothing.
Cofan
They also live in Sucumbíos, occupying four cantons. His clothing has changed due to external influences.
They wore a colorful cushma or nightgown. Both men and women wear a large number of colored necklaces.
On some special occasions they wear a jaguar tooth necklace. They wore feather crowns, pierced their noses and ears, and painted their faces with annatto.
Redwood
They also live in Sucumbíos. Their clothing is made with materials from their environment.
The raw material is a fiber from a tree called lanchama, they wear a crown of feathers, from the largest birds in the jungle, and they paint their faces in the shape of a cross.
Siona
They also live in Sucumbíos. The women wear a skirt to the knees, necklaces, nose rings, earrings, and crowns made with seeds.
The men wore the cushma or long nightgown, which has been lost as a result of the mockery of the settlers.
Huaorani
Also called sabela, ahuishiri, auca or huao. This people maintains its isolation and lives naked.
All his clothing consists for the man in a cord at the waist that keeps his virile member tied up. And in women a garment tied at the waist made with tree bark.
Shuar
They are distributed throughout the provinces of Morona Santiago, Pastaza and Zamora Chinchipe, with settlements in Sucumbíos, Orellana, Guayas and Esmeraldas.
The Shuar woman's clothing is the "karachi", tied on one shoulder and girded at the waist. This is complemented by body paint and typical ornaments such as the “tukunap” or reed stick that is placed in a lower lip piercing.
The “akiamu” earrings are made with toucan feathers, beads, nupi seeds and beetle wings. They also wear “shakap” belts, which are actually musical instruments, with which the women carry the dance rhythm.
The man wore a skirt called "itip", woven in cotton and dyed with vertical colors purple, red, black and white.
This skirt wraps from the waist to the ankles and is held up by a sash. Formerly they wore the "kamush", made from crushed tree bark.
They wear a variety of toucan feather crowns, and paint their faces with animal designs, which according to their tradition transmit their powers to them.
Nowadays they dress in the western way, except for celebrations that use traditional clothing.
