Theory of spatial relativity

Einstein claimed that only time travel to the future is possible and never to the past. He argued that speed was the key, and that the faster an object moved, the slower time passed around it.

If we wanted to move through time fast enough, we should reach the speed of light.

The most common explanation is that of the parable of the twins, where one of them is sent through space traveling at the speed of light for several years. Upon returning to earth, he sees how his brother has aged remarkably, while the traveler is young.

On the other hand, but no longer scientific evidence, the options of traveling to the past that have been established as "probable" are that of wormholes, one of the most used routes together with machines to travel through time in the science fiction movies.

As we have seen, if time travel is possible, it would be to the future, leaving aside the past, something that remains to be verified.

Be that as it may, the theories, evidence and above all legends of time travel, whether to the future or the past, are palpable. Next I am going to show you a series of curious cases about this phenomenon.

John titor

The story of John Titor is surely the best known of all, especially because of the existence of the photo above. The photograph is located in Canada and is from 1941. In it you can see a large crowd of people who seem to be observing something.

What is striking is, to the right of the image, a man dressed in clothes typical of the XXI century. You can see him with sunglasses, a T-shirt, a sweatshirt and what appears to be a Polaroid camera.

This man would be John Titor, a supposed researcher who traveled to the past to recover a computer. He appeared in well-known American forums giving supposed forecasts of the future and telling why he was there.

Of course the image is disconcerting, but it can be explained. Although at first it was thought that it could be a setup, forensic analyzes assured that such manipulation did not exist.

It could just be ahead of its time. Trackers have pointed out that the glasses were very similar to others worn by the actress Barbara Stanwyck in the film "Perdition" (1941), the shirt actually a fine yarn sweater, very fashionable in the 1940s (as was the cardigan which looks like a sweatshirt) and that the camera was a well established pocket Kodak at the time.

Flight to the future

In 1935 Sir Victor Goddard of the British Royal Air Force (RAF) had a harrowing experience in his biplane.

Goddard was a commander and on a flight from Edinburgh to his base in Andover, England, he decided to fly over an abandoned airfield in Drem, not far from Edinburgh.

It was covered in foliage, hangars were falling apart, and cows were grazing where planes had been parked.

Goddard continued his flight to Andover, but found himself faced with a strange storm. In the strong winds of the strange brown-yellow storm clouds, he lost control of his plane, which began to spiral toward the ground. Trying to avoid the accident, his plane was heading towards Drem.

As he approached the old airfield, the storm suddenly disappeared and Goddard's plane was now flying in bright sunshine. This time, while flying over Drem Airfield, it looked completely different.

The hangars looked new. There were four planes on the ground: three were familiar biplanes, but painted an unfamiliar yellow; The fourth was a monoplane, which the RAF did not have in 1935.

The mechanics were dressed in blue overalls, which Goddard found strange, since all RAF mechanics were dressed in brown. It is also strange that none of the mechanics seemed to notice it fly. Leaving the area, he encountered the storm again, but managed to return to Andover.

In October 1969, a man identified only as LC and his business partner, Charlie, were driving north from Abbeville, Louisiana, toward Lafayette on Highway 167.

As they drove down a nearly empty road, they began to catch up with what appeared to be an antique car that was traveling very slowly.

The woman looked terrified and confused. LC asked if she needed help and, through her rolled-up window, she indicated "yes."

LC motioned for him to park on the side of the road. The two of them stopped in front of the old car and when they got out the old car had disappeared without a trace.

The fair of the future

One night in 1972, four students from Southern Utah University were heading home to Cedar City after spending the day at a rodeo in Pioche, Nevada.

The girls were surprised to see that the black asphalt had turned into a white concrete path that ended at a cliff. They turned around and tried to find their way back to the road, but they found an unfamiliar landscape; fields of cereals and pines.

Feeling completely lost, the girls approached a house. They stopped in the parking lot and one of them poked her head out the window to ask directions from men leaving the house. But she started screaming and told the driver to get out of there.
