Tamen Di Gushi, also called Their Story and Begin W / Your Name, is a Chinese manhua or webcomic considered one of the most popular on the Internet. It was written by Tan Jiu in 2014, and is a kind of continuation of the 19 Days web comic. It has 159 chapters to date.

In the world of manga and comics, this is of the genre "yuri", which refers to the love relationships that are established between women. The plot focuses on the relationship between Sun Jing and Qiu Tong, a couple of girls who, after meeting coincidentally, begin to establish a friendship that transforms into something deeper as time goes by.

According to several fans and Internet users, the story is "light" and "funny" because it focuses on a series of crazy events between the protagonists, as well as between the rest of the characters.

History

The main plot centers on Sun Jing, a high school student who has been meeting Qiu Tong for some time, a girl who does not go to the same school but who manages to meet at the same bus stop.

Main characters

Sun jing

She is a popular, fun, friendly and athletic girl, who stands out especially for her basketball skills. She is also not feminine, which is why she is always wearing sneakers and a messy ponytail (when she's not at school).

It can also be mentioned that she blushes whenever Qiu Tong is around and that according to the author's first version, she wore her hair short.

Qiu Ton

The other protagonist of the story is sweet, popular and, unlike Sun Jing, extremely feminine. Despite having a friendly and personable personality, she actually has a hard time relating to the rest of her peers.

For this reason, most of the time she chooses to spend time alone. It is believed that she comes from a wealthy family due to the constant renovations that her mother does.

Qi Fang

Something important about this character is that she eventually gets to know Sun Jing's attraction for Qiu Tong with incredible tact, so she takes it upon herself to encourage her friend to continue with her love intentions.

Qin Xong

He is also friends with Qi Fang and Sun Jing. He stands out for being extremely clueless, since he almost never understands very well the things that happen around him.

Xuezhang

Also called a "gorilla", he is a boy in the physical appearance of someone in his 20s and who almost always has a stern and serious expression.

However, he is one of the sweetest characters because he tries to protect his classmates, as well as younger boys from other grades. He is reasonable, fair, perceptive, and tries to get everyone to get along.

Some interesting points about the webcomic can be highlighted:

-In October 2015 the creator of the story, Tan Jiu, published a version of the series in physical called Begin W / Your Name. In this same material are the chapters published on the Internet, as well as the art and extra content.
