The tourist offer is one that is made up of a group of goods, services, infrastructure and resources, organized in such a way as to satisfy the demand of visitors. The elements must be meshed, to offer the traveler a harmonious vision of the resource to be promoted.

Tourism has become one of the sectors that has a high impact on the economic development of a country. It is estimated to be responsible for 5% of world GDP and, as such, it makes a significant contribution to employment. The last decades have seen the growing expansion and diversification of this industry.

New exotic destinations have emerged, but the most important thing is the integrated vision of tourism. Currently it is necessary to have a platform that tries to cover the visitor's needs as much as possible, in such a way that they feel the comfort of their home during their stay.

Components

Tourist resources

They are made up of all those natural or cultural elements that, depending on their attractiveness, positively influence the visitor to choose that place as their tourist destination.

Among the natural resources are beaches, mountains and plant or animal diversity.

Cultural resources are those related to architectural works, arts and shows, among others.

Tourist plant

The tourist plant is made up of all those companies that will facilitate their stay in the destination for the visitor. With the exception of travel agencies, all are located in the tourist site itself.

These business groups are those that are related to the areas of accommodation, recreation, transport and restaurants.

Touristic infrastructure

For the integral development of tourism, the existence of a group of institutions and adequate facilities is essential that, in a complementary manner, provide visitors with access to and full enjoyment of the tourist attraction.

Some of these elements include basic services, transportation, accommodation, gastronomy, communication routes, health and safety services.

Complementary services

There are other sectors, different from tourism, that reinforce the comfortable environment that must be offered to the visitor. On many occasions, depending on the intention of the traveler, they become decisive elements when choosing a destination.

Some of these services are bank ATMs, Wi-Fi zones, call centers, taxis, exchange houses, car rental, among others.

Tourist product

It is made up of tangible components, such as a museum or a beach, but it has the addition of elements such as hospitality, attention and the name, which are intangible but which become part of the characteristics of the tourist site.

Therefore, the product is given by the dynamic interaction between these two elements, each one with its own characteristics, but which together make the development of any tourist activity possible.

This type of tourism is for people who love adrenaline. In general, it is related to visiting sites that offer difficult activities and extreme sports, such as mountaineering, hiking in the desert, diving, etc.

Gastronomic

There are numerous tours organized for the pleasure of experiencing the culinary culture of a region, where the visitor can taste the traditional dishes of the area.

Currently the so-called wine tourism is also carried out, which is aimed at visiting the places where there are vineyards and exotic wines are made.

Cultural

This type of tourism involves the culture of a country, covering aspects such as its history, lifestyle, architecture, traditions, and festivals.

Urban cultural tourism includes visits to museums and art galleries. If the destination is a rural area, it can be considered to know the ways of life of the local communities.

Ecotourism

It is a very broad category, which implies a trip to places where the visitor appreciates, preserves and values ​​natural landscapes. Beyond enjoyment, seek awareness towards protecting the environment.

Within this type of tourism is geotourism, aimed at exploring the geological heritage of the region; and agritourism, which involves visiting farms and carrying out activities related to agriculture.

Increasingly, people who have emigrated from their native country travel to it with the intention of reconnecting with their past. This new form of tourism seeks to strengthen people's ties with their customs and roots.

People go on long trips in order to make pilgrimages or carry out activities related to their faith. Many holy places around the world have been turned into tourist centers, receiving a large influx of tourists each year.

It involves the excitement of sport and the enjoyment it offers. For example, every year tennis lovers organize to travel to see their favorite player live, and football lovers go to witness the victory of their team in the World Cup.

Mexico

This important Latin American country is ranked eighth worldwide in terms of international tourism. It is the first tourist destination in Latin America.

It has beautiful beaches such as Cancun, Acapulco, Puerto Escondido and the famous Puerto de Vallarta.
