It has its origins in the cotton, the classic clothing of the cowboys of this region to protect themselves from the weather, thorns and branches.
It consists of a suit made of filigree leather adorned with fringes. Calfskin or deer suede is used in its manufacture.
It usually wears white leather and flower prints, and the state crest is also engraved on the back of the jacket.

Those in the municipality of Bustamante are particularly famous. The barrels are made of oak or oak.
They come in various sizes and shapes: both those that serve as souvenirs and those that are properly used to store liquors.
3- Otate cane baskets
This type of handicraft is typical of the Sierra del Sudoeste and the Sierra de San Carlos. Caña de otate or caña brava is a grassy plant that grows in this part of the region.
It is used to make various types of baskets or baskets, which are among the most traditional products in Mexico.
Hats and other finely woven and decorated products are also made, such as the laborious miniature temples.
4- Saddles
These saddles are part of a whole range of leather goods used by riders, such as girths, reins, boots, straps, hats and weapon holsters.
The chairs are finely decorated. They usually have figures engraved to increase their elegance.
5- Ixtle or lechuguilla fabrics
With the ixtle or lechuguilla that grows in this region a diversity of articles woven from very ancient times is made.
Because it is a very resistant fiber, it is used in the elaboration of ornaments and headdresses, bags, flowers, bows and ropes.
