To make a reflection it is necessary, among other things, to choose a topic and research extensively on it. Reflections are in-depth analyzes that an individual makes about a specific topic in order to reach a conclusion.
For the man it is possible to reflect on any topic, so that the individual has a position regarding everything he knows.
Watching a movie can cause a state of reflection in the individual. In this state, the individual will probably associate what he saw in the film with his own sensations, or will try to find similarities with other films.
In either case, you will go through deep thought processes that will guide you to a conclusion.
Reflection not only involves practical knowledge, but also spirituality. In this sense it is also known as introspection, and is associated with meditation.
The act of reflecting on the world is an instinctive gesture for human beings. It is part of the way in which man understands his environment and learns to function in it.
The 5 steps to writing a good thoughtful text
1- Choose a topic
When writing in an academic way, it is necessary to choose in detail the topic to be studied.
The first thing that is taken into account is the relevance of the topic. That is, if the topic fits the context in which it will be held.
It should be an interesting and motivating topic for the writer. The number of research sources is also a relevant aspect to consider.
It is advisable to make a preliminary list of possible topics. From there, go discarding until you find the indicated topic.
two-
You cannot think or reflect on what is not known. So once the subject is defined it is important to study and soak up it very well.
Research has very specific methods that work. In this process, aspects such as the source of the information must be taken into account, which determines the reliability.
Note taking is a very useful tool; Jotting down quotes or ideas is important to review when analyzing or writing.
3- Schemes
It is not advisable to start writing if you know exactly how the text will develop and end. This is why it is important to make diagrams that work as a guide in the future.
In the diagrams the main ideas that are going to be developed and on which have been reflected during the study are noted.
Any kind of schematics is functional. There will always be one that suits the needs of the individual.
4- Write
When it is written is when the conclusions of the reflections are specified. While researching and studying, certain ideas develop.
When the scheme is made, these ideas are organized and take shape, relating to others.
When writing these ideas is that the conclusions emerge as they are, and all the scattered ideas make sense.
5- Review and correct
Finally, it is necessary to reread what has been written. This in order to avoid errors that may have gone unnoticed when writing.
Some prefer to have a third party read reflections, because a fresh and alien mind can give a fresh perspective.
But this is not strictly necessary. It is possible for every individual to self-correct their texts.
