The tourist attractions of Baja California Sur have allowed it to position itself as one of the most visited states in Mexico. Few places in Mexico have such varied ecosystems as this state.
This has led to a mobility of tourists interested in ecotourism, mainly counting on visitors from the United States of America.
Whale watching is a sight like no other in the state. In the months of January to March of each year, a greater number of these cetaceans are observed, which come to the area to mate and conclude their reproduction cycle.
The most important municipality for hotels is the Los Cabos area, in its two main cities: Cabo San Lucas and San Juan del Cabo.

Currently, other species of cetaceans have been observed, such as the humpback whale in Los Cabos and the blue whale, which is observed in Loreto.

Of the 18 mission sites of the time, only 10 remain, reflecting the historical monuments of the time.
The route of the Missions begins in San Ignacio (Mulegé) and ends in San José de Los Cabos.
