200 examples of abbreviations in Spanish and their meanings
The first thing that is presented is the abbreviation, followed by its explanation. In some cases, there are two or more abbreviations for the same word; if this happens, all abbreviations are displayed separated by semicolons (;).
In the event that an abbreviation has more than one meaning, they will be presented separated by commas (,) if the meanings are closely related, as is the case with the gender specification (masculine and feminine).
For example: Ing.: Engineer, engineer.
